RACING INFO

Please come prepared with adequate water and nutrition for your race.

There is limited cell phone coverage throughout the course.

We recommend you pre-ride the course if you have never ridden it before. The course will be marked 1 week prior to the race.

Numbered bibs will be provided to attach to your bike, please make sure they are visible.

Bike Races will be timed via RFID chips through Rocky Mountain Timing, and finishing times may be accessed on their site later that day.

Photo's of your finish will also be available for download through Rocky Mountain Timing.

Signs and color coding flags will be posted at different trail intersections guiding you along your journey. There will be volunteers posted at various locations.

Should you find a fellow rider in need, please alert the next volunteer you see on the trail along with the approximate location.

For the BEAT DOWN Race: There are timed cutoff points you must achieve to go to the next leg of the race.

At volunteer station #28, you must reach that mark by 11:15am.

At volunteer station #29, you must reach that mark by 12:15pm.

At volunteer station #30, you must reach that mark by 1:05pm.

For the THREE-AMIGOS Relay Race: You will be given ONE bib between the 3 racers that has the chip-timer. The bib will need to be handed off to the next racer at the bib handoff points.
PRIZE INFORMATION

The Dolores Rotary will be awarding $100/$75/$50 to the top 3 mountain bike riders in the 60-mile Beat Down and the 33-mile Oso (Male & Female, each age category) along with a trophy to commemorate your achievement.

Various prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the 18-mile Overlook and the 15-mile Goose (Male & Female, each age category) along with a trophy to commemorate your achievement.

We are also awarding $300 (Male and/or Female) to anyone that breaks the 33-mile Oso record time, set in 2020.
